Important Context: FunPayroll.com provides workforce and payroll software to employers. Under applicable privacy laws, your employer is the Data Controller of your employment data, and FunPayroll.com acts as a Data Processor (or Service Provider) acting solely on your employer's instructions.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information necessary to provide workforce management and payroll services to your employer. This includes:

• Account & Identity Information: Name, work email address, employee ID, job title, and department, typically provided by your employer.
• Workforce Data: Clock-in/out timestamps, daily schedules, timesheets, time-off requests, and accrued leave balances.
• Financial & Reimbursement Data: Pay rates (if configured by the employer), reimbursement amounts, and uploaded photos or documents (e.g., receipt images for expenses).
• Location Data: To verify attendance, GPS location data is collected when you start a clock-in, clock-out, or meal punch. On supported Android devices, location access may remain available briefly if the app moves to the background while a punch workflow that you started is finishing. We do not use location for continuous tracking and do not collect location between punches.
• Device & Usage Telemetry: IP addresses, browser types, device operating systems, mobile push notification tokens, and application crash logs to ensure platform security and stability.

2. Biometric Data (BIPA Compliance)

The FunPayroll mobile application supports biometric authentication (such as Apple Face ID or Android Fingerprint) for convenient login. FunPayroll.com does not collect, capture, store, transmit, or possess your biometric identifiers or biometric information. All biometric processing occurs securely and locally within your device's native operating system enclave. The Platform only receives a standard cryptographic "success" or "failure" token from your device.

3. How We Use Information

We use the collected data strictly to operate the Platform on behalf of your employer, specifically to:

• Verify attendance and generate accurate timecards.
• Process payroll workflows and data exports as instructed by your employer.
• Authenticate users and protect against fraudulent access.
• Send transactional notifications (e.g., shift reminders, time-off approvals).
• Provide technical support and resolve system errors.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We disclose personal data only under the following circumstances:

• With Your Employer: Your data is fully accessible to authorized administrators and managers designated by your employer.
• With Service Providers: We use trusted third-party sub-processors (such as secure cloud hosting providers) to operate our infrastructure. These providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
• For Legal Reasons: We may disclose data if legally required to do so by a valid subpoena, court order, or to protect the safety and legal rights of FunPayroll.com or its users.

6. State Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

FunPayroll.com acts as a Service Provider. We do not "sell" or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). If you reside in California or another state with applicable privacy laws and wish to exercise your rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, you must submit your request directly to your employer (the Data Controller). We will assist your employer in fulfilling valid requests.

7. Data Retention and Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We retain your personal data for as long as your employer maintains an active account with us, or as otherwise instructed by your employer to comply with applicable labor, tax, and payroll retention laws. 8. Children's Privacy

The Platform is intended for use in an employment context and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
